This is a multimedia project created for English 371 along with group members Kyna Baltazar and Louie Leyson. The double exposure photographs were created to represent the third space that is observed in the contrasting modern and traditional Philipino culture, as discussed in the novel Dogeaters by Jessica Hagedorn. This work used poetry from all three group members in a fragmented manner to illustrate the voices of the youth caught between the past and the present. This project was created in an album format, so that the audience could physically touch and see the third space. Some of the photos from that album have been scanned for your viewing pleasure.
